8. Christian Hubicki

Christian was the star of the premiere episode, and he’s found himself a great partner in Gabby. The two will likely run the votes until the tribe swap, and he’s able to solve puzzles in the blink of an eye. He has established his worth early, even though his social game could mightily improve.

7. Alison Raybould

Despite getting buried in the opening challenge edit, Alison has a complexity to her. She was selected as the strongest woman of her tribe, and her statistical knowledge of the game’s idol dynamics show her level of game awareness. She’s primed for greatness in the game.

6. John Hennigan

You’re allowed to be cocky if you have the skills to back it up, and John seems to have the right level of self-awareness. He’s got the strength to carry him right through to the merge, but I’d like to see how he plays the game in order to determine if he can win it all at the very end.

5. Gabby Pascuzzi

Gabby might have already secured a possible winner edit, and she’s in the perfect place with her David tribe. She’s already working with Christian strategically and has a strong social game that makes her friends with almost everyone on the tribe. Plus, the fact we’ve been getting her perspective on all facets of David life is promising early on.
