9. Dan Rengering

Man does Dan really want to make himself look like a huge target. Though he’s not quite in the same position as Jay in Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X where everyone’s saying “Dan has an idol,” it was certainly an open secret that he had one. He also won the second Individual Immunity of the season a long time after many had dropped out of the competition, even when he didn’t need to win it.

The reason John Hennigan was voted out was that his Hidden Immunity Idol was an open secret, as Davie, Christian, Nick, Carl and Gabby were able to coordinate their votes well before Tribal Council even in anticipation of Angelina being protected. He used up one of his two Hidden Immunity Idols on a player he said at camp he didn’t want to play, essentially being guilted by Angelina into giving up power in the game.

Though Mike is still a more strategic player and exposed himself in a bigger way against the Davids, Dan still has a Hidden Immunity Idol and has the ability to win even more Individual Immunity Channels. He’s kind of an open threat with little strategic clout or respect in the game. With John out, one of his closest allies is gone, and the Survivor: David vs. Goliath episode 9 promo suggests that he may lose Kara, as well.
