Survivor Island of the Idols episode 8 power rankings: Officially dateable

Let’s take a brief moment to reflect on the brilliant move Kellee Kim brought to Survivor last week. She wants to keep an ally on the other side, take out a threat that can undermine her game down the line while also ensuring no blood is on her hands, and others could be targeted if it goes south. She also wanted to do so with just one person working in her favor with full knowledge of the plan.

She has a Hidden Immunity Idol good only for that Tribal Council, so she hands it to Dean, the person targeted for deletion from the game, while also voting for Dean. She then tells him to vote for Jack while getting Noura to vote for Jack in the event that Dean plays an idol for himself just as a 3D chess move. She couldn’t account for Jamal flushing his idol on Noura, but even if he played it on himself, Jack was still going home.

Kellee continues to take out the King + Queen + Jack alliance, getting Dean to come over to her side, is now back with the group of women leading the game so far while making a big move she can save for Final Tribal Council while putting the heat potentially on Noura and Dean (the latter she was willing to part with anyway).

Kellee Kim is the favorite to win Survivor: Island of the Idols.
