The potential third perfect game

J.T. and Cochran no doubt played perfect games, but another contestant could theoretically fit into this category and that’s Jeremy Collins, winner of Survivor: Cambodia. Jeremy played an idol that negated three votes against him on Day 36 and he went on to win the season in a 10-0-0 vote three days later.

This is tricky for Survivor fans because while Jeremy didn’t have any counted votes against him, he did technically receive three. Some might consider Jeremy’s win to be perfect, but there will always be an asterisk next to his name simply because he did have three ways sent his way late in the game.

Close calls

Sandra Diaz-Twine almost became the first ever player to complete a perfect game, as she had no votes cast against her in Pearl Islands. Unfortunately for Sandra, Tijuana voted for Lil, so the original queen came one vote shy of the show’s first ever perfect game.

Three seasons later, we almost had another perfect game with Tom Westman’s win in Survivor: Palau, but he received all but one jury vote. Coby ultimately voted for Katie, but did so as a vote against Tom, costing him what would have been a perfect game.

Earl Cole – winner of Survivor Fiji – received one vote during the course of the game and it came early on from tribe mate Rita. He went on to win the game unanimously.

Perfect games are much tougher to come by now with the final three and even more so with the fire making twist, which makes it difficult to take two goats to the end. That’s why this list stopped at Cambodia (with what was a potential perfect game), but now if someone were to make it through the game with no votes cast against them and also earning every single jury vote, it’d be quite the feat.
