Jeremy Collins of San Juan del Sur and Survivor Cambodia is challenging fellow castaway fans of New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons for Super Bowl 51.

Survivor is as much a game about luck as it is about timing, strategy, and survival skills. Sometimes, at fate would have it, the game doesn’t go your way. That’s why Jeremy Collins (participated in Survivor San Juan del Sur and Survivor Cambodia), as a New England Patriots fan, is taking on Atlanta Falcons fans in a hat betting challenge ahead of Super Bowl 51 this Sunday.

The rules of silly bets like this are simple; if you’re a Survivor player who cheers for the Atlanta Falcons and the New England Patriots win this weekend, you have to “humiliate” yourself by taking a picture of yourself wearing Patriots gear for all followers on social media to see.

So far, Jeremy Collins has issued the challenge to everyone while reminding us about Dale and Kelley Wentworth, fellow castaways from Survivor San Juan del Sur, who both lost this same bet two years ago as Seattle Seahawks fans.

So far, there have been some interesting responses. For one, Spencer Bledsoe from Survivor: Cagayan and Survivor: Cambodia joked about the time he promised $10 to whoever retweeted him if the New England Patriots won the Super Bowl two years ago!

Malcolm Freberg, From Survivor Philippines, Survivor Caramoan, and the upcoming Survivor Game Changers, is taking the bet on step further. In addition to posing with a Patriots hat if the Falcons lose Super Bowl 51, the loser may have to send a meal from their home town.

With the wait for the upcoming season of Survivor Game Changers becoming an unbearably long one, at least we can relish in the fact that players of the game are willing to take their fandoms of sports to the next level for our entertainment during Super Bowl 51. (Go Falcons!)
