He considers himself a reality TV superfan. In his spare time, Khris enjoys camping and hiking in nature, taking nature photography, playing board games and video games, and both playing and watching sports; he also considers himself an ace mini-golfer.
Giavanna Worthy
Gia Worthy is a Surviving Tribal Contributor and content creator on multiple platforms under the handle @classicallygia. She is known as a lifelong Survivor fan who works hard to remind you that Survivor Fiji is a criminally underrated season. Gia is also a proud social media contributor to the Survivor Diversity Campaign, a product of the hard work of Black Survivor Alums who advocated for more equitable casts and production teams. A writer, podcaster, and notorious tweeter, you can find more of her Survivor content on Inside Survivor, Silent Podcasts, and Rob Has a Podcast. For something a little different, you can listen to her Abbott Elementary recaps on Recap Kickback.
Jacqueline Thomas
Jacqui is a Contributor for Surviving Tribal with nearly a decade of digital media credits in TV, film, and live entertainment under her belt. You may have spotted social content she's created across titles for Hulu, Bravo, HBO Max, and FX or you might know her as that cursed girl from BuzzFeed who broke the internet (literally...). Most recently you can find her working on her debut novel and perfecting her Survivor audition pitch as she counts down the days until she can apply again.
Joel Wagler
Joel is a life long sports and entertainment fan and has spent 14 years covering the NFL, MLB, college basketball, and college football, as well as TV, movies, books, and music as a writer, editor, and sports and entertainment director. He also coaches basketball and bowling for Special Olympics.
Mariana Loizaga
Mariana Loizaga, from Mexico City, is a lawyer and writer with an MSc in International Relations from the University of Surrey. She has been a writer for over ten years, including contributing to Inside Survivor and now to Surviving Tribal. Mariana's writing interests range from reviewing films, TV series, and books to gender studies, international politics, and Survivor, of course. She's been an avid fan of Survivor since 2013, when she discovered Survivor Philippines, and has since watched every Survivor US season, as well as from the show's Australian, New Zealand, South African, and Mexican versions. Mariana can always be found with a book, an iced coffee, and an endless list of writing projects, including her draft for her first novel.
Ryan Gamble
Ryan is a freelance online contributor. He has been writing about movies, sports, and TV for years. Past experiences include being a film critic, covering sports beats, and writing about his favorite TV shows. Now he is ready to tell you about what's coming up in the world of Survivor and why fans should be excited about Survivor 50. Ryan also loves spending time with his family, cheering on the Seattle Mariners (he never misses a game), and seeing what reality TV offers next.
Wyatt Brownell
Wyatt is a contributor to Fansided's "Surviving Tribal" Fansite. Always looking for new ways to tell stories, Wyatt's passion is exploring the history of Survivor, and the unique stories the show can tell. He has been a fan of the show for as long as he can remember... and beyond (he was 26 days old when Survivor first premiered). In addition to "Surviving Tribal," Wyatt publishes a weekly Substack column, "Actor/Songwriter/Storyteller," where he shares stories of life as a working actor, songwriter and playwright.
Zack Shaw

About FanSided
The idea of FanSided was born in 2007, when two brothers felt that their favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs, was being under-covered by the mainstream media. Taking matters into their own hands, they launched Arrowhead Addict, a move that would spawn the creation of FanSided in 2009, a network of over 300+ fan-powered unique sports, entertainment and lifestyle sites dedicated to team-specific, sport-specific, genre-specific, and fanbase-specific coverage. From sports, movies and TV to lifestyle and tech, FanSided has you covered.
