Photos from Survivor: Game Changers Episode 10 Have a Returning Challenge

As per usual, the events of Survivor: Game Changers episode 10 are just a bit less mysterious now that the press photos have come out.

The Survivor: Game Changers photos have followed some pretty clear patterns over the season. For the most part, we get shots of the challenges. In the pre-merge phase, shuffle episodes only showed off the moments leading up to the tribal shuffle so as not to divulge who landed where. But last week, with the merge episode, we also continued to get shots of life at camp.

We say all this because episode 10’s photos have appeared on CBS’ press site, and for the most part, they’re expected. But there are two that have us asking some questions. Let’s break down the pertinents, shall we?

We deduced from the promo that this shows the reward challenge. Interestingly, this is a team challenge with 11 players left in the game. Also, just pay attention to what everyone’s wearing. It’ll be important in just a second.

So, from this photo, we can see that Tai, Troyzan, Sarah, and Zeke make up Team Orange. Team Blue is a little less obvious from just one photo, but Debbie, Andrea, and Brad are all on it …

As are Sierra and Aubry, which probably means that Michaela’s left out.

Judging by Sierra’s face, the reward is also really good.

That is either the face of barely restrained excitement from Michaela or her attempts to hold her irritation in because she may not be participating at all.

Here’s Sierra, looking far more stressed than before. Does this imply that she loses out on the reward challenge?

CBS’ own uploading order has these two between the immunity and reward challenge photos. Both Brad and Sierra look pretty somber and disappointed. We’re not saying they lose the reward challenge, but we are saying that it looks pretty suspicious.

You’ll remember this challenge from Survivor: Kaoh Rong, where everyone has to hold on to a rope to keep a table steady, then stack blocks spelling immunity on said table. For such a simple challenge, it can lead to a lot of drama.

That’s how it all shakes out then. From left to right we have Troyzan, Tai, Andrea, Brad, Zeke, Sarah, Sierra, Debbie, Cirie, Aubry, and Michaela. It doesn’t mean much, since players can’t really interfere with each other, but it may lead to some looking over to see how nearby competitors are doing. That could then result in someone losing their concentration.
