With the game of Survivor Game Changers behind her now, Debbie Wanner unwinds at Survivor Ponderosa the only way she knows how; with a LOT of exercise.

Despite billing this show with contestants that are willing to change up their game, Survivor Game Changers has been reliable in its boot order so far. Hali Ford has made Survivor Ponderosa as the first jury member at Worlds Apart and this season. Ozzy Lusth made Ponderosa as the second jury member in Micronesia and this season.

Finally, Debbie Wanner has made Survivor Ponderosa as the third jury member in both Kaoh Rong and Survivor Game Changers, and she is certainly heading to rest and relaxation in a good, healthy mindset. CBS has posted her Ponderosa video, where Ozzy and Hali greet her with open arms (even though she has her closed due to still smelling of island funk).

Interestingly enough, it is likely that Debbie Wanner both came to the island without extra food packed into her system and ate fairly well during her time in Survivor Game Changers, as she only lost 1.5 pounds. Even so, like everyone else, she was raring to go on eating her first normal meal post-gameplay but had other plans for the other players at Survivor Ponderosa.

It becomes clear to Hali that there is something a bit off with Debbie, but at the same time, she does live an interesting life. We’ve all joked about Debbie’s 20-ish jobs she’s performed (and mastered) over the years, but Hali’s convinced that half of them are true.

More from Season 34 Game Changers

I’m surprised personal trainer wasn’t one of Debbie’s professions that she shared on the show because she has a fairly good body weight exercise regimen she performs every single day. She listed off doing 25 pullups, 100 situps (200 if she “wants to have fun”), 50 pushups, 50 deep knee bends, yoga, then a three or five-mile jog.

Oddly enough, of all of Debbie’s things she’s ever said, I believe this to be true. For her age, Debbie’s in as great a shape as anyone else can be. It may not be a functional strength that you would get from lifting weights, but I’m sure by running on fumes and non-stop conversation, Debbie will outlive us all.
