The latest preview for Survivor: Game Changers suggests that the game may shift again based on two or three players making some moves.

It will be no easy march to the final Tribal Council for whoever manages to make it there on Survivor: Game Changers. Perhaps that has become obvious before now, but it seems as though the show itself has picked up on it a little more than usual lately.

To see what we mean, check out the latest preview, uploaded by CBS today:

Sure, the reward gets a little emphasis at the end, there — and it should, because they’re playing for time with their friends or family members per the synopsis — but before that, it’s all about the game itself.

Even though Brad, Troyzan, Tai, Andrea, and Michaela all appear during that segment, only two people actually get to speak: Sierra and Sarah. It’s not tough to conclude that they’ll play pivotal roles. Although it may not be an ideal time for Sierra to try and tilt the game back in her favor (she’s not immune due to her legacy advantage, which won’t kick in again until the final six), as the trailer points out, it’s basically do or die for her and her alliance. The shakedown still looks like a 5-4 split … until you get to Sarah.

And Sarah utters that clichéd line about how she’s not planning on “making friends” in Survivor.

Make of that what you will, but things look particularly ominous right now for the Cirie, Andrea, Michaela, and Aubry bloc. If Sarah flips, there goes that majority, and Troyzan and Tai have three idols between themselves to throw around if necessary just to make things a little more interesting at Tribal Council.

In other words, Troyzan and Tai could make themselves and Sarah immune, Brad or Sierra could win immunity, and one of them would only get four votes anyway. That, of course, assumes Sarah does actually switch sides again without just talking about it.

Next: Survivor and some baseball strategy

That doesn’t seem guaranteed at this point, either.
