Voted out in the most historic of means, Cirie Fields heads to Survivor Ponderosa after an exhausting game of Survivor Game Changers.
Cirie Fields has got to be one of the unluckiest players in Survivor history. For all the great she has done in the game with her strategic and social play, she has been subject to some of the cruelest twists of fate. Cirie left for Survivor Ponderosa after finishing in sixth place, making her the eighth juror of Survivor Game Changers.
In her Survivor career, she first lost in a fire-making tiebreaker challenge in Panama. On her second time out, she was voted out in 3rd place through Micronesia‘s surprise Final 2 (something that wouldn’t have happened were it not for medivacs). She got idoled out and a winner flipped on her in Heroes vs. Villains, and in Survivor Game Changers, she was eliminated without a single vote due to “Advantagegedon.”
She played the best game she could, and that fact was not lost at Survivor Ponderosa, as she received a great welcoming party ready to respect the legend in her most vulnerable of moments.

The editing for Cirie’s Survivor Ponderosa experience is a lot more somber than they usually are, as players are typically happy to see the jury, get some food in, laugh for a bit and reflect upon their game. However, in my opinion (shared by many in the jury), Cirie got absolutely screwed by the advantages, and she’s clearly in shock over the proceedings.
Beyond everyone’s utter disbelief, Survivor Ponderosa brought back Cirie and Michaela. Cirie still sees herself as the big sister to Michaela and promises to be there for her inside and out of the game to offer guidance. Michaela has already shown to be in high spirits, so if anyone can cheer Cirie up, it’s her.

It seemed like a disappointing farewell more than a moment of triumph. Debbie insisted Survivor Game Changers was poised for Cirie to win, and now it may have been her last time playing. As long as she’s willing to get off the couch and try again, the fans will be there waiting to see what she does next.
