Sierra Dawn Thomas – Turning into the sheriff post-merge

She was never supposed to be here. In the few weeks training up for Survivor Game Changers, Natalie Anderson sustained another concussion. Despite her willingness to compete, her doctor deemed her unfit to compete, taking her out and CBS needing a replacement.

Sierra Dawn Thomas was the 20th player confirmed to play the season, being such a loyal non-entity in Worlds Apart. Knowing she should not have been cast to play this season, she decided to take on a more aggressive role in the gameplay this time. She was the player to find a Legacy Advantage among the starting chaos, and she knew that she had to play smarter in order to use it at Final 6.

At the merge, she transitioned to the Sheriff role, targeting Hali first and whipping up the Ozzy vote second. She knew how to talk to players on both sides, and made sure to do everything necessary to stay in the game. By doing so, she earned a hell of a lot of respect from the players and fans who didn’t know she was capable of any of it going into this season.
