4. Adam Gentry

Throughout my re-watch of Survivor: Cook Islands, I noticed that Adam actually has a fairly decent game strategically for someone who likely knew his odds of making it to the end were slim as soon as Nate went out at the merge.

In particular, he had a fairly keen strategic sense — enough to know that with his back up against the wall, he could help knock Jonathan out ahead of him, at the very least. Furthermore, he actually brought up talk of the jury even knowing that he’ll be a member because of the Aitu Four’s dominance in the game.

It’d be interesting to see how he plays again more than 10 years later, older and presumably wiser. In Cook Islands, he presented his case for voting Jonathan off to Yul based more than a little bit on how much he and Jonathan didn’t get along, and indeed, the show made a point of contrasting the camp’s general atmosphere with and without Jonathan in the episode with his elimination.

So how would an older, wiser, and possibly still a physical threat Adam play more than a decade later? Presumably he’d bring a dose of maturity to his second game after his first mostly revolved around Candice, Parvati, and not liking Jonathan.
