#5. Ashley Nolan

So far in Survivor season 35, Ashley’s story has often about the needs of others and the general feel at camp. In the latest episode, however, we started to see Ashley Nolan take more of a personal ownership of her game, trying to talk to Chrissy, Lauren and Ryan about Ben behind his back while cutting confessionals about not wanting to be told what to do.

By teaming up with Lauren to approach Joe and Mike, the two remaining players of the minority alliance, Ashley’s taking the early steps to establish a big move in the game on her own. This could be huge in flipping the game and taking ownership of her fate, as it would see herself earn a bigger seat at the new Round Table.

Sometimes the squeaky wheel gets the grease. Other times, the squeaky wheel gets voted out for making too much noise. We’ll have to see how it goes in the next episode.
