Tis the season, as the Survivor season 35 episode 12 promo takes on “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” while centering around the Loved Ones visit.

I’m going to be honest with you; there isn’t a lot about this Survivor season 35 episode 12 promo that provides revolutionary pieces of brand new information. At this stage in the game, anything more than what’s shown off in the “Next Time On” segments will impact how much the audiences sees of late-game play.

That doesn’t mean that it’s not an advertising masterpiece, as the Heroes vs. Healers vs. Hustlers episode 12 promo for “Not Going to Roll Over and Die” is mostly in rhyming structure similar to a Christmas song. In fact, CBS has paired most of its content (including the words spoken by players and Probst) with “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” as the backing track.

Here’s the video of the Survivor promo below, with the poem someone at CBS’ marketing department came up with laid overtop:

(Any words in parenthesis are spoken by a player; others are spoken by the narrator.)

"It’s the holidays again, be merry and zen,(Chrissy: He’s such a jerk … Ben.)Make gifts for a friend, like this device,(Ben: A fake Hidden Immunity Idol,) that’s so nice! [Devon: Ohhhh …]Family visits feel top notch,(Jeff Probst: This is so beautiful to watch!)But, we should mention something now; This Survivor ending will make you say, (Probst: Wow!)"

To sum it up, Chrissy’s salty over Ben finally dropping his secret agent act, going against the upper echelons of the Round Table. Ben, feeling insecure, makes a fake Hidden Immunity Idol to give to Devon. We get second confirmation of the Loved Ones reward challenge, while we’re teased with another “wow” moment out of Jeff Probst.
