Whether it’s clues to a real idol, making a fake idol or hiding in the bushes, there’s a lot going on in the Survivor season 35 episode 12 photos.

With just seven players left in the game and nine days until the Final Tribal Council, the Survivor season 35 episode 12 photos open up a window into the mindsets of the players in this pivotal episode. You can’t trust anybody (not even yourself), so anything and everything you do may be under the watchful eye of someone else.

With the Lauren Reward Alliance owning a strong majority in the game leading to a possible Final 4 scenario, you would think that it would be a coast right to the end. However, nothing’s easy in Survivor, and the cracks of alliances and sub-alliances are deepening every single day on the island. The CBS press photos for the upcoming episode solidify that notion and provide a glimpse of what’s to come.

As you can see in this shot at the well, Ben Driebergen is up to his Tony Vlachos-esque ways once again, spying on Lauren, Devon and Ashley filling up water and (likely) talking strategy. Lauren and Ashley have previously stated their wish to get Ben out, so it’s possible his name gets thrown out there once more.

The three first screenshots of this episode on the press site are of Lauren, Devon and Ben individually smiling in their own shots, but quickly pan to Chrissy grimacing and Ryan giving this (and another) sullen look. It’s clear that either Chrissy or Ryan are the main players to state the episode’s title, “Not Going To Roll Over And Die,” as moves need to be made.

For the second time in as many episodes, we see Ryan talking to Mike, probably approaching him sometime during their chess/checkers match about teaming up to take out the majority. While Mike may not have been wanting to work with him when he thought he was in the majority, he’s low on the pecking order now!

Ben is clearly not feeling safe within his own majority alliance, hence his need to create a fake Hidden Immunity Idol. We saw from the “Next Time On” preview who he gives it to, adding further intrigue into the game’s dynamics.

The Individual Immunity Challenge gets featured prominently in the Survivor season 35 episode 12 photos, and it’s a classic “hold up some discs longer than anyone else” dexterity challenge. Hey, what is that shell near Lauren’s foot there for?

It could have something to do with this clue to a Hidden Immunity Idol, showcasing some sort of demonstration of the challenge and an image of a shell in the ground. We’ve already been shown as much in the episode’s sneak peek, so now we have a better look at every step of the play’s creation minus the “Eureka” moment.

Here’s the moment half of the audience has been waiting for, while the other half has been dreading; the Loved Ones visit. It’s an easy emotional pull, for sure, but even this cynical fan can’t help but well up during some of these moments throughout the years. It will serve as the reward challenge of “Not Going To Roll Over And Die,” which airs on December 6 at 8 p.m. ET.
