Survivor season 35 finale synopsis promises ‘new twist’ in the game

We’re in the final stretch now, as the Survivor season 35 finale synopsis tees viewers up with the promise of yet another brand new variable in the game.

It’s hard not to see the excitement heading into the Survivor season 35 finale. For some, they will see it as the culmination of a slow-burn, ending with a final third of the show paying off with a ton of explosive moves. For others, the satisfaction will come from knowing that the season is finally over, as some view the inexperienced blunders of this cast as painful repetitions time and time again.

Wherever you sit on that spectrum, we’re now just five days away from the end of a fairly dynamic season, and CBS wants to keep its ratings momentum going heading into next week’s ultimate showdown. “Anyone” can win the million dollars next week, although the path to victory is a lot harder for some over others.

Here is the synopsis for the Survivor season 35 finale, “Million Dollar Night.”

"“Million Dollar Night” – Castaways compete in an all-new immunity challenge, and a new twist is unleashed into the game. Then, one castaway will be crowned sole Survivor and awarded the $1 million dollar prize, on the two-hour season finale, followed by the one-hour live reunion show hosted by Emmy Award winner Jeff Probst, on SURVIVOR, Wednesday, Dec. 20 (8:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network"

We already knew there would be another Secret Advantage heading into the finale due to last week’s “Next Time On Survivor” preview, but we didn’t know that it would be a “new twist.” The wording on it is vague, as it could mean that the newest wrinkle in gameplay is new to the season or new to the show.

Regardless, with Chrissy showing off a Super Idol only three players know about and nobody getting a clear-cut winner’s edit, we’re in for a mysterious finale regardless of the outcome.
