Survivor Ghost Island host Jeff Probst is back to offer up his thoughts and opinions on the 20 castaways set to compete in this game.

It’s fun to make guesses about your favorite upcoming television competitions and act like some sort of psychic medium with your “excellent” guesses of what will happen. In reality, the truth is stranger than fiction, and you can’t predict exactly how things will shake up, no matter what. It’s still a fun exercise, though, and if anybody knows theSurvivor Ghost Islandplayers and how they may play as castaways, it’s someone involved in casting.

TheCBS Survivor YouTube channelhas posted Jeff Probst’sSurvivor Ghost Islandcast assessment, with him offering up his take on how the players will stand up to the ultimate test. A few standouts (to him) include Desiree Afuye, Wendell Holland, Jenna Bowman, Stephanie Gonzalez and Chelsea Townsend, while he has something nice to say about the other contestants backed by some early concerns.

For example, to Probst, Brendan Shapiro may thrive in this game due to just how well he can socialize with others, carry his tribe in challenges and strategize as a long-running applicant of the show over 15 years. However, he could just as easily be voted out early as others wish to take out a huge threat. Chris Noble seems to be a nice, strong guy, but he doesn’t seem to have much going for him from a social perspective.

Long are the days where Jeff Probst looks at theSurvivor Ghost Islandcast and emphatically states if a player has no shot at winning the game. He knows the majority are fans or superfans of the show, and that the more emphatic his predictions are, the worse he looks. Most players seem to have an equal footing, although it seems as though Wendell is his winner pick.
