In this game, your trust is guaranteed only to yourself, as even your new best friend can turn around and stab you in the back. That’s the case with what happened in last week’s episode, but Survivor Ghost Island episode 4, “Trust Your Gut,” shows how certain players retaliate in response.
Despite staying in the game and Chris separate on Ghost Island, it was as if Angela was on an island of her own. The old Naviti members of her swapped tribe wanted to vote her out as Chris’ second in command, telling the old Malolos to vote her out as a sign of trust. Meanwhile, James saw this as an opportunity for the supplanted Malolo Four to use the miscalculated Naviti numbers advantage to vote four strong, sending Morgan home.
We know that this is going to spark a bigger storyline down the road, as Angela and Chris have no reason to stick to their old tribe lines. They may toss a line to their new tribemates and try to swing the power in the battle between Domenick and Chris. However, with an idol and the Legacy Advantage in Dom’s pocket, will yet another player get caught in the warring factions’ crossfires?

And what do we gather from the new swapped Malolo? Survivor Ghost Island is currently in a place where Kellyn’s intelligence, Sebastian’s strength and the leadership of Brendan make them an unstoppable workforce, leading to victory after victory. However, should the tide turn, will Michael be able to cause a major power imbalance with his Hidden Immunity Idol?
