Survivor: David vs. Goliath merge power rankings: Valley of Elah
2. Mike White
Once thought of as the first boot for the Goliaths, Mike White might be one of the most dynamic players ahead of the Survivor: David vs. Goliath merge. Not only is he trying to keep the Goliaths together by getting Nick to vote out one of the Davids (the first time in the swap phase that the Davids were voted out), but he did so while keeping the Goliath majority.
Of course, that doesn’t guarantee that he’ll be the one to maintain that majority, but it does put him in a really strong position. He’s tight with Nick now as one of the Rockstars and can be put in an even better position if the duo becomes a trio or more with Christian in the mix. Plus, Angelina and Mike were instrumental in voting out Natalie, counteracting each other’s blame for not originally voting along tribal lines.
One leak in Mike’s game is clear, and he’s said it numerous times; he likes bossy people telling him what to do in the game. When he’s making his own moves, like taking out Lyrsa, we don’t see how he convinces Nick to go against his wishes. He did get a heap of positive content in the most recent episode, though; hopefully, it’s not used to mislead.
