10. John Hennigan

Though I still find the Mayor of Slamtown an interesting character, his role in Survivor: David vs. Goliath is rapidly diminishing. He did get his say about protecting Christian from Angelina’s elimination, and he was in the middle of conversations with Alec and Alison about who to vote out. However, his most entertaining, personal content was talking about eating food to restore his macros.

The merge is an important episode for breakaway players to make their pushes, form new groups and form their plan to make it to the end. However, John was the voice of keeping “Goliath strong” at a merge where Goliaths were crossing over with Davids and making plans for Final 11 and later. Sure, he might want to work with the Brochachos, but will the Brochachos stay intact to make a deep run?

Everything about John screams “target.” He’s the strongest, most agile player in the game, and he has some social prowess as a player. He does not have the scheming, conniving edge to him (at least, not what we’ve seen) and some of his stronger pre-merge bonds were with Natalie and Angelina. He might get dragged down with the latter.
