5. Angelina Keeley

I find odd moments where Angelina shines in the edit to be particularly interesting. It seems as though she plays the middle as fast and as loose as Mike White, and even made a big move this past episode alongside Mike White by throwing idol split votes against Gabby, but she doesn’t seem to get the credit she deserves for making the moves.

I’m reminded a bit of Hannah Shapiro in that way, as she made it to the Final Tribal Council losing winner equity with the jury because of her actions leading up to the merge and how she handled herself prior to making those important moves. She’s arguably one of the most important people in getting Ken to drop his morals and vote out his biggest ally, David Wright, at the Final Four, yet her nervous wreck perception meant she didn’t get the credit for her input.

I find Angelina in a ton of those spots. Like the rice barter situation earlier, Mike shared the perception that even he knew it was right but didn’t like how she went about it. Furthermore, we see the edit reflect Angelina’s self-boasting repetitions, which seems to be a pattern. I think that Angelina could make it to the end of the game, but because she bumbled out the gate, her redemption arc will fall short.
