Out of all the thrilling moments on this list, this had the least impact on the game moving forward. Natalie was on everyone’s list to vote out from Day 1, and Lyrsa, who also received votes, ends up getting sent home in the next Tribal Council. But where it lacks in overall importance to the season, this Tribal Council made up for it by creating one of the most unforgettable moments in Survivor history.

At this point in the game, the castaways were being rocked by cyclone after cyclone. The constant rain made everyone cold, especially for those who didn’t have a jacket. As it came time to vote, the Jabeni expansion tribe unanimously decided that Natalie had to go… but she had a warm jacket! For the entire Tribal Council, Angelina delivered an Oscar-worthy performance by pretending to be on Natalie’s side.

She voted for Lyrsa, defended Natalie, and even cried and hugged her after Jeff read her name three times. I think you know the rest. Survivor’s Twitter account sums it up in the tweet below:

This pre-merge Tribal Council created an infamous Survivor moment that we will remember for years to come. It would be higher on this list, but the next two entries saw the castaways from this season use strategies we have never seen before.
