Wardog is doing Wardog things even amongst his own allies as the Survivor: Edge of Extinction episode 8 secret scene shows how loud his mouth runs.

This post will showcase the Survivor: Edge of Extinction episode 8 secret scene while discussing parts of this week’s episode.

You never want to be the one pushing “_____ strong” the hardest. It’s not only a death knell strategically in Survivor, but it’s almost like editing code words signaling the demise of a player’s chances to win that season. We might have started to see that come into play during yesterday’s Edge of Extinction episode, as one of the biggest “Kama strong” proponents was sent packing.

However, Lesu has been pretty instrumental in their demise up until that point, with Wardog offering an olive branch in hopes of creating a new alliance within the game. But who is Wardog loyal to? Obviously his “Lesu Three” in Kelley and Lauren, but in this Survivor: Edge of Extinction episode 8 secret scene we can see he’s only truly loyal to Kelley (as he has from the start).

Wardog talks about subtly throwing Lauren under the bus, while Kelley doesn’t want (presumably) the Kama majority to see her working with Lauren because she “wants to ride with” Wardog instead. When Lauren walks in on their conversation, both Kelley and Wardog are bad at covering their tracks, coming up with a bad cover story in a very slow fashion, with Wardog insisting they have a code word to avoid that scenario happening again.

It’s very interesting as a viewer to see this scene, as it would seem as though Kelley and Lauren are closer than Kelley and Wardog. However, this secret scene either shows Kelley being an amazing liar to Wardog and a great strategist overall or them truly planning to go to the end together without Lauren.

Either way, Wardog’s pitch to Gavin and Julia to create an alliance on the backs of strong, tight players would be countered in the edit were this secret scene to be included. That’s why it’s the Survivor: Edge of Extinction episode 8 secret scene in the first place.
