Survivor’s Joe Anglim and Sierra Dawn Thomas are now engaged

A few years after meeting on Survivor: Worlds Apart, Sierra Dawn Thomas took to Instagram to announce she is engaged to Edge of Extinction’s Joe Anglim.

One thing I didn’t like aboutSurvivor: Edge of Extinctionearly on was all the callbacks to former players. Like, I knew from social media that Joe Anglim was competing this season for himself and his girlfriend, Sierra Dawn Thomas, but millions of viewers at home might not have known about that until it was mentioned on the show.

It’s true, though; Sierra Dawn Thomas and Joe Anglim first met onSurvivor: Worlds Apart,with the blonde barrel racer on the blue-collar tribe and the Amazonian-haired jewelry designer on the no-collar tribe. It seemed like not even Sierra voting out Joe was enough to stop these two, as they reconnected in recent years and have been happy together ever since.

Now it’s time for the two to join the likes of Boston Rob andAmbuhAmber Mariano, John Fincher and Parvati Shallow, Erik Huffman and Jaime Dugan-Huffman, Alex Bell and Kim Powers, and Whitney Duncan and Keith Tollefson; all of whom married after meeting each other throughSurvivor.

It’s remarkable to think about how greatSurvivorhas been at creating lasting relationships with the players outside of the game.
