Though Survivor: Island of the Idols airs on CBS, judging by the most recent episode, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was simulcast to the CW network. 37-year-old Noura Salman prepared for her high school’s 20-year reunion by comparing the tribal dynamics of Vokai to that of high school cliques.
Amid a stream of demands and instructions for her “lazy tribe” who can’t find themselves doing work in the middle of sleep (how dare they), she likened Molly Byman to the popular girl at school and tried to rally the tribe to vote her out. Completely unrelated to that desire, Lauren, Kellee, and Janet organized a power grab, thus reinforcing harmfully antagonistic dialogues in Noura’s head going forward. Yipee.
The Lairo tribe took a backseat, although Aaron seems to be pissed off that nobody told him about the Ronnie vote. He vowed vengeance upon the rest of his tribe despite being outnumbered, although I wouldn’t be surprised if he tries to pull the guys together to somehow hope their four can outvote the five women on the tribe (a seemingly impossible task, I know).

The women of Lairo have been dominant, and now they have power in their hands. However, with the Survivor: Island of the Idols episode 3 promo indicating that Karishma might have a “me against the world” vibe, perhaps she can work with the men to achieve revenge.
