Both tribes have had people learn their lessons, but the Survivor: Island of the Idols episode 4 promo instills some rules for all castaways to understand.

This post will showcase the Survivor: Island of the Idols episode 4 promo which will show roughly 16 seconds of footage from next week’s episode.

Death, taxes, somebody skirting the line between flirting and showmance; these are the universals, seemingly, in non-returnee seasons of Survivor (and even in some seasons where players know each other from TV). You would think that Boston Rob and Ambuh Amber would have ruined the effectiveness of such couples on this show, yet people keep trying to make it work.

At least, that’s what seems to be portrayed on the Survivor: Island of the Idols episode 4 promo for “Plan Z,” presented as Boston Rob going through some basic lessons that are being broken in the coming episode. The first lesson is “Don’t couple up,” which Aaron sees Dean and Chelsea do by “sleeping on top of one another” and that he classifies as dangerous.

Lesson 2 suggests, “Don’t double down,” followed by Vokai agreeing as a tribe who has to go to the Island of the Idols. Lauren suggests she’s staying at the camp, and only Kellee has visited the island. Despite insistence from Probst that the promos won’t spoil anything going forward, does this not suggest that Kellee will double down and visit the island again?

Lesson 3 tells you to “Always keep your eyes open,” followed by multiple players crashing into objects as they walk around blindfolded in the Immunity Challenge. Poor Tommy got hit in the groin and Missy got open-hand hit in the face; we should expect more damage throughout the episode to occur.

However, with lessons one and three being contradicted by the footage, I can’t help but feel like Kellee will double down on her Survivor: Island of the Idols visits and return for another lesson with Boston Rob and Sandra. It’s the only thing that makes sense in line with the promo’s constant lessons being contradicted, no?
