6. Lauren Beck

Though she was a prominent factor in determining who would be voted off of Vokai first, Lauren took a huge step back after the fallout. That may be a much-needed cooldown after a blindside that was mostly driven by her and her core group, as the majority of focus this past week’s episode went toward Tommy mending bridges and painting targets.

5. Janet Carbin

Perhaps the most surprising player so far in Survivor: Island of the Idols has been Janet. Once again, she was part of the core conversations had on Vokai, taking Jamal’s suggestion of Dan into consideration but not before checking in with Tommy, who both agreed Jamal should potentially be the next to go. The fact that she’s having these strategic conversations with all players on the tribe shows her level of comfort without being targeted by anybody.

4. Missy Byrd

She did want to get out Tom before conceding to the tribe’s wishes in voting out Vince, but a secret scene showed she wanted to get him out anyway. The fact of the matter is Missy is in a strong leadership position within Lairo without outwardly being a target. Plus, her bond with Elizabeth is one of the few small-group bonds we’ve seen develop so far. Typically, those go far.
