Tommy Sheehan (New Vokai)

Previous situation:

In the first phase of Survivor: Island of the Idols, Tommy has been playing a solid game. His specialty is building genuine, one on one relationships with the rest of his tribe members, and it seemed to be working for him. He built good relationships with Jack, Janet, Lauren, and possibly more castaways that the edit didn’t reveal.

When Lauren changed the vote from Noura to Molly, Tommy wasn’t present for that conversation. That said, the friendships that he built moved Janet to inform him about the plan, showing that his social connections are paying off. This is a strategy that he spoke about in his preseason interviews, and he’s following through with them.

Current situation:

You might be thinking, how could Tommy be in a better position than that? It’s true that at this point, he doesn’t have a clear majority on Vokai 2.0, but he does have the makings of an impactful alliance. Tommy connected with Aaron right away, and it feels like these two players will be the mediators for their original tribes if they do end up going to Tribal. However, this tribe is absolutely stacked physically, so it won’t be an easy task to defeat them at a challenge.
