With two-straight weeks of Survivor: Island of the Idols where two people are getting booted, the episode 10 promo suggests possible targets.

The Survivor: Island of the Idols episode 10 promo contains footage that will air in this week’s one-hour episode.

A lot of traditional Survivor mainstays have been shifted about due to the extremely discomforting nature of the Island of the Idols merge. Some things like press photos being late are occurrences that happen this time every season, as not having press photos by Monday early afternoon usually indicates we’ll get screenshots as opposed to proper photos from Robert Voets.

One thing that isn’t standard, however, has been the lack of promos and sneak peeks for the episodes as shared on the SurvivorCBS YouTube or Twitter accounts, as they have been tellingly quiet ahead of, and after, the merge. Thankfully, official Canadian broadcaster Global has provided the Survivor: Island of the Idols episode 10 promo themselves, and it seems as though the people being targeted don’t start with the letter “D.”

With two immunity necklaces on display and Jeff Probst promising two people going home that night, I can’t help but think we are anticipating a Ghost Island-like scenario where the remaining castaways are split into two Tribal Councils. The split is 6-5 in that scenario, however, meaning we could have a tie vote on our hands if we don’t have some sort of Island of the Idols advantage interference.

Regardless of jumping ahead, let’s focus on the promo. Aaron thinks that he could get out two players in opposition to him for the price of one, but Elaine suggests to Tommy that Missy wants to get him out. With a lot of uncertainty on display and nobody currently in possession of an idol, anything can happen in the span of an hour. It is weird to think we will lose four players in just two weeks of action.
