As the Survivor: Island of the Idols finale press photos are revealed, the show itself is currently being filmed live-to-tape, making these last-minute snaps.

TheseSurvivor: Island of the Idolsfinale press photos will display screenshots of tonight’s action, but do not spoil content beyond the Final Five on Day 36.

It seemed just like yesterday that we arrived at the merge inSurvivor: Island of the Idols. In contrast, the beginning of the season feels lightyears away, as the dreadful state of the game thanks to the actions of Dan Spilo (who was removed from the game at theend of the last episode) have made things feel like a slog overall.

What has made the week-to-week following of the season feel so slow is also the slow-to-the-draw release of weekly content. In fact, as theSurvivor: Island of the Idolsfinale is being taped,CBS has finally released the few press photosof the fourteenth episode of the season.

One thing we know about the finale already is that the Final Five will be headed to the Island of the Idols for one final test. Here is the boat taking them to their new abode.

That’s Tommy showing excitement for the Island of the Idols and the mentors, as he is the only player left in the game who hasn’t visited the mentors. The fact that he’s at the forefront of the potential winners is remarkable because of it.

If you have been sensing a theme, it’s that these press photos don’t give away a whole lot, as the show wants to avoid spoilers until the finale airs on television (or in the hour before the taping is done and the finale airs). Here are Boston Rob and Sandra filling in the Final Five.

Wait a minute; those are new buffs. And the Final Five are waving goodbye to somebody? Maybe we are given a bit more information than I had thought. Perhaps this is their new home for three more days (at most).

No, this isn’t a preview for what will air in 2020, but likely a shot of Boston Rob and Sandra giving cheers to a season well mentored. A question remains; if somebody wins who wasn’t a beneficiary of their wisdom, did they fail? Did the season’s theme fail?
