Survivor Winners at War episode 6 press photos: Reunited
Sometimes, even being voted out of the game isn’t enough to change one’s behavior, as seen in the Survivor: Winners at War episode 6 press photos.
The Survivor: Winners at War episode 6 press photos will showcase content that will air in next week’s show, as well as the results of episode 5 and the tribe swap.
You can never expect the results of a tribe swap to go just as well as you could imagine. Although I did predict who would be going home after this tribe swap, the results of this week’s episode looked to have a stark contrast to the effectiveness of the buddy system, making it look like the edit hoodwinked us all in who was going home on the new Yara tribe.
However, you can never really trust what’s going to happen when somebody looks like they know what’s going to happen after the Immunity Challenge with their confessional. Overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer, as Boston Rob learned firsthand that playing like a tyrant with two “allies” who wanted to vote you out earlier (plus two who would want to vote you out anyway) is a quick way to get voted out.
Now that the Survivor: Winners at War episode 6 press photos are in, it seems as though Boston Rob’s idea of being in charge at all times has extended to the Edge of Extinction, as we offer up a split duty here today with photos from both the upcoming episode and plenty of shots of individual players with their new buffs as provided in episode 5, which aired this week.
The more things change, the more things stay the same. Boston Rob has a great crew on the Edge of Extinction, as it seems like all the people who would best work with him (minus Parvati) are here to keep his spirits high.
Just like he was on the Yara tribe up until his elimination, Boston Rob seems to desire to put on his “in charge” pants and take control of what’s going on at the Edge of Extinction. That, or he is telling Tyson and Ethan about a pretty flower just offscreen.
All looks cool and calm, but we know thanks to this week’s “Next Time On Survivor” preview that there will be a sidequest for these voted-out players to complete. You can’t help but feel like an episode where two tribes will go to Tribal Council might feel overstuffed.
If there’s anyone who benefits most from poking the bear sitting between Michele and Wendell, it’s Parvati. While she’s still in a supportive role with Michele considering she’s on the outs, it might be one of these two that are voted out next with two tribals upcoming.
I thought that the tension between Michele and Wendell was a bit oversold due to marketing for promos’ sake, but this week’s episode really sold the complex dynamic between the two. At least they’re getting along okay enough at camp.
There aren’t that many photos outside of the Edge of Extinction and Sele, so I thought including this shot of everyone but Wendell sitting on one side a pertinent image to share just in case.
Jeff Probst addresses the tribes while either Adam or Parvati speaks. This is near the moment where Probst will announce that just one tribe will secure safety this week.
The Immunity Challenge includes multiple stages, including gathering heavy bags and transporting them from a boat to shore. Only four players per tribe are competing, as it looks like Michele and Sandra are sitting out. Get your complaints ready!
Yul is administering bags at the second stage of the challenge as Wendell prepares to carry one on his head to the next stage.
The next stage requires players to push bags through the pre-determined small hole while climbing over the top as Jeff Probst stands on his tower of judgment and pointed barbs.
Once over and through, players will need to carry their heavy, waterlogged bags to a table where they will start retrieving puzzle pieces and/or sandbags/balls within.
Here’s Ben Driebergen stabbing into the bag to retrieve the components for the last piece of this challenge, which is not shown in the press photos available at this time.
