4. Jeremy Collins
With the Safety Without Power advantage in his pocket, Jeremy has the option to remove himself from any of the next few votes if he thinks he is the new target. It would make sense at the merge, as he’s one of the most prolific, dominant winners of an all-returnee season and ended with a perfect record only matched by John Cochran.
He’s also well and above the physical threat at the merge, with two Immunity Challenge wins under his belt against a stacked crowd of competitors in his winning season, Second Chances. He can stay safe for now, but what kind of shields will protect him now that most of the legends have been voted out before the merge?
3. Michele Fitzgerald
It seems like if we are to sympathize with any former winner this season, it’s Michele. She’s been getting either a winner’s edit or a “just came up short” edit based on the narrative surrounding her win in Kaoh Rong, and it’s become part of her story in overcoming expectations and doubters in Winners at War.
So far, she’s proven her worth, although she has stumbled a bit at times, especially in telling Wendell she’ll vote for him to get Parvati’s fire tokens. She made up for it by giving him one for free, no question’s asked, but with the narrative of fire tokens becoming invaluable down the line, will Wendell’s fire token from Michele be what bites her down the line?
For now, though, she’s in a great position headed into the merge.
