Eight players out of nine voted out in Survivor: Winners at War will compete to return to the game from the Edge of Extinction Challenge. Who will it be?

This is our companion piece to the Survivor: Winners at War merge episode power rankings, as we will look at each player’s chances of making it back to the game at large and conquer the first Edge of Extinction Challenge. Not only will we discuss their likelihood of making it back into the game from this pack of competitors, but also their chances of reintegrating and thriving (not being immediately voted out again).

Let’s get started!

Amber Mariano

Though she is wonderfully adept at the physical aspects of this game, Amber Mariano has not shown gumption or determination for her own individual game at this time. Even on the Edge of Extinction, she was too worried about rice burning on the fire to go look for up to four fire tokens, each of which is pivotal to her chances.

Odds she wins the Edge of Extinction Challenge: 3%. She’s capable in physical challenges, but being dextrous and manipulating tactile puzzles is not in her wheelhouse against this pack. Plus, she’s likely not using her one fire token here when Boston Rob has a stockpile.

Odds she thrives if she returns: 5%. To whom does she have a connection in this game? Sure, she can slot into a group as a number, but there’s no footing for her based on her lack of connections.
