Survivor Winners at War episode 10 press photos: Plenty of love
Whereas a few people had the chance to spend some time with their family in the past, the Survivor: Winners at War episode 10 press photos show excess.
The Survivor: Winners at War episode 10 press photos will showcase the plethora of family members and the castaways meeting them.
There are 10 players left in the game, yet it feels like we haven’t even really got to the intricacies of the merge in Survivor: Winners at War. Sure, we have an ongoing theme of the hyenas versus the lions (which is way better than passengers versus the pilots, in my opinion), but now that Adam Klein has been voted out, there seems to be a vacuum of ideas for where to go next.
Normally, having 10 players in the game is way too many people for when the show wants to tug on the heartstrings of its castaways. It’s not even guaranteed that we get to see loved ones in a season, as Michele Fitzgerald will attest to being left out of that experience, and both Tyson Apostol and Jeremy Collins played with a loved one in some of their seasons.
However, Survivor: Winners at War is no ordinary season, and episode 10 press photos for “The Full Circle” brings many of these Survivor families, ironically, full circle back to an island most of them had visited once before. In most cases, though, there are new faces for the viewers at home.
The sudden realization that the family is here in Fiji to provide moral support comes quickly and runs deep through the players, as Kim Spradlin is almost down to her knees as Jeff Probst reveals her family is here to visit.
It’s not just adults who were allowed to fly out to see these winners, as Ben Driebergen is surrounded by his son and daughter while his wife, Kelly, takes off his hat.
Not everyone is old enough or in the right position to have a large family just yet, as Nick Wilson and his fianceé, Grisel, are yet to be married. With the dynamics of the loved ones, who gets picked on reward, and who gets left out becomes a lot more compelling and tricky when picking someone who doesn’t have up to five people potentially waiting on the sidelines.
Speaking of, the Survivor: Winners at War episode 10 press photos help confirm more former players will appear this season, and not just in strategic narrative flashbacks. Val from San Juan del Sur brought the whole family with them for the trip, with Jeremy Collins’ daughters wearing No. 31 New England Patriots (boo!) jerseys in honor of their dad’s winning season.
Tyson Apostol’s transformation from snark master to snarky family man is nothing short of miraculous, and now Rachel from his winning season, Blood vs. Water, is here to ground him as he stretches his legs towards the endgame.
It seems as though being a Survivor winner provides many benefits, including getting to sit down with your family before even competing in a challenge. We do know that there is a challenge, as it’s one of the redneck ball-spinning games Elaine won immunity in last season.
