4. Denise Stapley

It’s odd to think of Denise as so high on these Survivor: Winners at War episode 11 power rankings, especially after she received votes at Tribal Council and even had an idol played on her. However, the fact that she’s in a position to be working with multiple groups in the middle of two power struggles dignifies her winning Philippines game further by taking her down a similar path.

I don’t think Denise is set up in the edit to become the Ultimate Soul Survivor, but it’s clear that many players in the game trust Denise. Sure, she may have been given decoy concern about being voted out in the early merge due to her established pre-merge resume, but the fact that she can cut ties and work with anybody has proven to become a valuable commodity in what is rapidly becoming a more dynamic game.

If Denise can continue to work both sides as they peck at each other while quietly building up her resume, I wouldn’t be surprised if she becomes a late sleeper pick to win it all. More important for many of these winners than their big moves is their position, and there’s nobody better positioned at this point than Denise. If it can net her a million, it can net her two on her second try.
