Most Invisible Survivor Contestants – – Number 17: Janu, Palau (14)

Other than being the first contestant ever to be stranded on Exile Island, Janu Tornell didn’t add much to Survivor: Palau in the 10 episodes in which she appeared. She was a member of the dominant Koror tribe, so the argument in the pre-merge portion is that she was on the less interesting tribe, as Ulong was a train wreck we couldn’t look away from.

Janu had just 14 confessionals in her 10 episodes and half of those came in her “boot” episode. Her being exiled earlier on was an easy opportunity to give her more confessionals and we saw this play out. Later on, Janu was on the fence about quitting the game and officially jumped over the fence in order to let Stephenie stay and play for another round.

That’s about the most memorable thing about Janu, but it’s also hard to split the air time evenly when Stephenie had 60 confessionals (one more than eventual winner Tom). Palau was all about Stephenie, but no one post-merge had fewer confessionals than Janu.
