56. Jonathan Penner (Cook Islands, Micronesia, Philippines)

We’re starting to see popular players emerge now more frequently and Jonathan Penner is proof of that, appearing at number 56. Penner was the villain in Cook Islands because of A) His decision to mutiny from the Aitu tribe to the Raro tribe and B) Flipping on Raro after Yul Kwon threatened him with the idol.

Penner came back to play in Micronesia and was medically evacuated prior to the merge, which was unfortunate because he probably makes it fairly far that season if that doesn’t happen. That medical evacuation did pave the way for him to return for Philippines though and that was my favorite Penner appearance because he was hilarious that season.

55. Kass McQuillen (Cagayan, Cambodia)

Kass McQuillen, or “Chaos Kass”, who was on the other end of the iconic Tony Vlachos llama scene, one of the funniest moments in Survivor history to this day. Kass made her game off of irritating the hell out of people and rubbing them the wrong way, but hey – It made her a memorable character! Even with that in mind, she still finished third in Cagayan.

Her being chaotic helped her get voted onto Cambodia just three seasons later where she toned it down a bit but was one of the first members of the jury. Kass played on two of the best seasons in the show’s history and she’ll always be remembered for her chaotic ways, especially when she flipped on Sarah Lacina in Cagayan.
