Jenna Doore highly regrets not trying to take out Devin Way

After her regrettable elimination, Jenna Doore looks back on her game and re-evaluates who she should have aimed her target at instead of Alexis Levine.

By now you probably know that Jenna Doore was eliminated from Survivor 51 at the end of episode 4, which is heartbreaking for me because I had her pegged to win the whole thing!

But in her “Behind the Buff” interview, we’re getting key insights from her game that she shared the day after her elimination, including how she should have approached her final vote differently.

“I will fight to repair relationships, when in reality I just needed to cut some ties,” the wedding photographer shared, looking back on her game. “I’m high-key regretting not…trying to take out Devin [Way] and Jelly [Loblack].”

If you’re anything like me, you were also yelling at Jenna to try and work with Alexis Levine and Ori Jean-Charles instead of trying to make amends with Devin and Jelly. Of course, that still wouldn’t have worked because—unknown to her—Ori was loyal to Devin and Jelly over Alexis. But if she had tried to coordinate something with Alexis and Jelly to take out Devin or Ori (namely Devin), I think she actually could have gotten the ball rolling on that one.

And considering she knew there was a huge possibility that she was an the odd-player-out going into that last Tribal Council—and especially considering what happened the last time Devin saw her an an odd-player-out—without a shot in the dark, there were so many other options she could have taken. But at least Tribal Council was a memorable experience for her, even getting voted out.

“As I got to go to Tribal [Council] a little bit more, I was really trying to soak it in because there are so many things that you can’t see as a viewer at all that are just there to, like, really let the players feel so immersed and you feel that way,” Jenna explained about attending Tribal Council. “It is such a stunning thing to be a part of.”

And while we won’t see her at Final Tribal Council as a member of the jury, she still has opinions on who she would vote to win the title of Sole Survivor.

“I’m rooting for Lewis [Kelly],” she gushes, excitedly. “He’s a little chaotic and fun. That could be a hot take, but I feel like he’s out there ready to play. If he can get to the end, I think he’s got it.”

And Lewis is definitely in a good position right now—if whatever is wrong with his stomach doesn’t take him out of the game first…

But overall, he was a swing vote at his first Tribal Council and still has the power to flip between two possible alliances on the new Toka tribe after the tribe swap. So if Lewis keeps his chin up and his ego low, he could definitely take home the whole thing.
