The Survivor legend Jeremy Collins has revealed the one scenario that would make him strongly consider competing in the show again.

Widely regarded as one of the best players of his Survivor era, Jeremy Collins' incredible social and strategic skills allowed him to win Survivor: Cambodia — Second Chance. While he deserves to be credited for that forever, one of the most impressive things he did in the game goes underappreciated. During Survivor: San Juan del Sur, Jeremy was able to forge a bond so tight with Natalie Anderson that she used her outrage at him getting voted out to fuel her throughout the rest of the season. That shows how good Jeremy is at getting strangers to care deeply about him in a matter of days.

Unfortunately, it seems like Survivor fans are unlikely to ever see Jeremy compete on that show again. After Jeremy recently competed during The Traitors season 3, it is a lot more likely that he could pop up on other reality shows in the future. However, it turns out that Jeremy hasn't completely closed the door on being a Survivor player since he recently revealed what it would take to get him back.

Jeremy Collins would only return for the last season of Survivor

In September 2025, Jeremy Collins made an appearance on CBS Mornings. During the resulting conversation, the Survivor icon was asked why he isn't competing during the upcoming landmark season, Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans. In response, a lighthearted Jeremy told the interviewers that he felt like he was too old to play Survivor again and that he'd told Jeff Probst that he is done.

"You see the gray whiskers on me? Like, I'm getting old. I have 100 days in. I'm getting super old out there. I think I'm done. I think I'm done. I told Jeff, 'I'm done, I can't do it anymore.'"

Since Jeremy was tapped to co-host the latest season of Survivor's official podcast with Jeff, the two men are clearly on great terms. As a result, it makes sense that the iconic player and the show's host have discussed what it would take for Jeremy to compete on the show again. During his CBS Mornings interview, Jeremy stated that the only way he would compete on Survivor again is if it was part of the show's last season ever.

"That being said, if this was the last season ever, you know, like, give me a call. I might do it again."

In my opinion, Jeremy's one condition for competing on Survivor is pretty heartbreaking to learn about. As one of my favorite players in the show's history, I would love to see Jeremy return to Survivor. Now, I know that unless he changes his mind, the only way that will happen is if my favorite reality show ever is coming to an end. Talk about a bittersweet scenario.

On the internet, it seems like virtually every topic is being discussed and debated by at least some people at any given time. As a result, there has been some talk among fans about the potential of Survivor ending soon. However, there hasn't been any indication that the show is going anywhere from CBS or Jeff Probst. That means that it is unlikely that Jeremy will be competing on the beaches in Fiji any time soon.
