If you ever wondered if Rachel LaMont and Jay Wolff, Jeff’s cohosts for theOn Fire with Jeff Probstpodcast, are spoiled about theSurvivorseasons they cover, this week’s fan questions were for you.
At the end of each episode of the podcast, Jeff, Jay, and Rachel answer questions fromSurvivorfans about the series.
On the latest episode ofOn Fire with Jeff Probst, a fan asked if the two co-hosts, producer Jay andSurvivor 47winner Rachel, knew who won the season, as well, or if it was just Jeff. Both confirmed that they do not know any spoilers regarding the current season, and watch the same way the fans do.
Here's what Jay said in response to the question on the podcast:
“I have no idea what’s gonna happen. I am watching the show, week over week, the same way you are, and finding out exactly what’s happening and shouting at my television just like you are.”

Rachel, who is this season’s rotatingSurvivorplayer cohost, shared similar sentiments.
“Yeah, I mean. same. I actually feel like… this makes me think, “Jeff, what’s it like to have seen all of this play out in real time, and then come back many months later and recap it again?”
Despite Jeff obviously being spoiled on the outcome of each season, even he admits that piecing together a cohesive story to tell fans is a large order, particularly with the hectic shooting schedule for himself and producers. Probst calls the filming of the season itself as “one large event”.

Safe to say for those enjoying Jeff and company’s weekly recaps of season 48, it’s nice to know that some things (like spoilers) remain sacred amongst even the most esteemedSurvivoralum. Sometimes, stars of Survivor and the people in the know really are just like us!
We'll all be finding out the winner ofSurvivor 48soon! As of right now, there are only four weeks ofSurvivor 48left. The winner will be announced during theseason finaleon Wednesday, May 21, on CBS and Paramount+.
