The second episode ofSurvivor 51deviated from the epic strategy of the premiere and led us to a very confusing Tribal Council where we really could not have predicted the crazy twist that would—attempt—to take place by a player (because it was literally against the rules…).

Aaliyah Puglia
Voted out: First (Toka)
Though she made an early cross-tribe alliance with four other players, Aaliyah’s performance in the challenge made her an easy target after Jenna Doore discovered she was on the chopping block for not connecting with people. In the end, Aaliyah chose a great ally in Devin Way, but Devin made the wrong enemy in Jenna, putting Aaliyah in danger with the majority. Though both women played their shots in the dark, neither were safe and Aaliyah received 6 votes and had her torch snuffed.
Ana Sani
Voted out: Second (Savu)
After a double loss of both a reward and an immunity challenge, Savu found themselves facing their first Tribal Council. And though everyone seemed to have a consensus of Eric Macksoud going home when the time to vote someone out came, Ana unfortunately had too much to say around camp and put a huge target on her back with the people whose names she dropped. She received the majority 6 votes that she needed—as no one gave up their vote for a shot in the dark—and was sent home.
