It’s no secret at this point that Rachel Reilly is no longer in the Big Brother house and has been eliminated from season 27 in what many are calling the worst move the show has ever made.
For those who somehow have not already caught wind of Reilly’s elimination, Reilly’s game came to an abrupt end as part of a White Lotus-inspired twist. As fans have pieced together from the live feeds, during the White Locust twist, Reilly was eliminated from the game after failing to complete the challenge within the allotted time.
The challenge saw contestants competing in a puzzle competition in which each round saw time shaved off the clock, leaving the players with less time to complete the puzzle than the previous competitor. When Rachel failed to complete the puzzle in the allotted time, she was immediately eliminated from the competition without a proper chance to truly save herself.
There was no Veto to be played. No Blockbuster competition to give her a chance at safety. No house vote in which she had the chance to campaign and fight for her life in the game. She was simply eliminated from the competition after losing a single competition. This is a twist that has angered many longtime fans, former Big Brother houseguests, and Survivor legends.

Rob Cesternino calls out Big Brother producers for ruining season 27
Among the many CBS reality TV alums who are speaking out following the shocking elimination of Rachel Reilly is Survivor legend Rob Cesternino, who is not holding back in putting the producers on blast.
Following Reilly’s elimination, Cesternino called for a national day of mourning across the reality TV fandom. Discussing Reilly’s elimination from the competition via a gimmicky twist this late in the game, Cesternino did not hold back as he called the move a “total embarrassment” and “disgraceful” event.
“Let me be very clear: to eliminate Rachel without giving her a chance to fight for veto, to campaign, or even to face a fair vote - it's a pox on the Big Brother House. A total embarrassment. Big Brother has been on the air for 25 years! You'd think after a quarter-century they would know how to run this game. But no, they botched it for a gimmick and they embarrassed themselves in front of the world.”
Cesternino went on to add that the producers “should be ashamed” by their actions and has been calling for them to fix their mistakes by finding a way to bring her back into the game.
Sadly, it’s unlikely that the Big Brother producers will undo what has been done; though if they’re smart, they’ll find a way to give Rachel a chance to re-enter the game and make this right. She was playing her best game yet, having made it this far without ever hitting the block.
