Every season there are cast leaks and some fans love them while other fans wish they would just stop and wait for the official announcement to share the news.
But over on Inside Survivor—despite the fact that we haven’t even officially met the cast of Survivor 51—we’re already seeing player names, age, locations, and occupations populating the rumor mill for Survivor 52.
Let me preface all of this by saying, again, these are all rumored leaks. We have no confirmation of who is out in Fiji right now filming the next season, nor do we even know how many players will appear in Survivor 52. While Survivor 51 has upped the new era ante with a rumored 21 castaways, we have no idea if the follow-up season will go in the same route or go back to the standard 18 players in 26 days format.
Hey, according to Jeff Probst, with this new, new era of Survivor, anything could happen. So we don’t even know if they’re all still only playing for 26 days—though we can strongly guess based on the way production schedules have been set over the last 6 years.
Who, so far, is rumored as part of the Survivor 52 cast? (Spoilers ahead!)
According to Inside Survivor, we have the identity of five players rumored to be out in Fiji right now filming the 52nd season of the long-running reality competition show. And based on the list, it’s looking like Survivor 52 might lean towards younger players with fairly well-held jobs.
The ages range from 28-34 and include careers such as Journalist, Marketing Manager, and Account Executive:
- Bobby Hall - 34 - Kissimmee, FL - Theme Park Entertainer
- Dan Perez - 28 - Jersey City, NJ - Account Executive
- Drew Goins - 31 - Washington, D.C. - Journalist
- Emily Ho-Abegglen - 34 - Madison, WI, Marketing Manager
- Tory Jason - 33 - New York, NY - Art Director
Of the names listed, fans are most likely to know Drew Goins who appeared on Jeopardy! in 2024 before going on to win the Jeopardy! Second Chance tournament and earn a place in the Champions Wildcard and Tournament of Champions tournaments—the latter of which he went up against former Survivor 45 castaways Drew Basile. He was also invited to compete in the Tournament of Champions and then eventually found himself playing with his brother on Pop Culture Jeopardy!
Our other Jeopardy! Drew played a really great game back in Survivor 45, so if Drew Goins really is one of the Survivor 52 castaways, he could be a contender for sure.
But until we know for sure who is officially cast on any upcoming seasons, we’re not making any predictions of who has the best chance of winning.
