The sixth season of the US version ofThe Traitorsis just around the corner and there are quite a few familiar faces for fans of reality TV. Probably the most interesting combination of players we’ve seen, the show has extended an invitation to the castle to stars fromRuPaul’s Drag Race,Real Housewives,Love Island,Big Brother,The Amazing Race,The Bachelor,The Challenge,The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, and—our favorite—Survivor.
With 23 celebrity players taking on the next season, it might seem ominous for our twoSurvivorstars as far as probability goes, but…these are two players I would never underestimate. Especially in a game of social deception or treachery.
Survivor: Kaoh Rongwinner Michele Fitzgerald andSurvivor 50’sQ Burdette join the sixth season ofThe TraitorsUS.
Peacock announced the upcoming cast of season 6 ofThe Traitorson Friday, September 18th,
noting a premiere for the streaming show in 2027. While the fifth season was dubbedThe Traitors: New Bloodand featured the first cast made up entirely of people who haven’t previously been on shows or in the spotlight somehow, it looks like the show is going back to its celebrity roots for the next one.

Now, both Michele and Q have competed on two seasons ofSurvivor—Koah Rong&Winners at WarandSurvivor 46&Survivor 50, respectively—so they are well aware of how to move through a game of strategy and social intelligence. Michele, of course, is one of the few people who made it to theFinal Tribal Councilof every season she’s played on and I definitely think she’d be formidable on this show as either a Traitor or a Faithful and I can definitely see her making it far.
Q on the other hand, based on what we’ve seen of his gameplay, has a habit of not choosing his words carefully enough for the people around him, making it very easy for him to make enemies. Hopefully having food and general comforts will help him keep his social game in check because he does have a strategic mindset that would be very good for a Traitor.
And even thoughThe Traitorsis a whole new ballgame fromSurvivor, we’ve seen past contestants go on and completely dominate the game likeCirie Fieldswho won the first season as a Traitor. And considering she just gave Rick Devens and Dee Valladares some great advice for their own incredible run onBig Brotherthis summer, I assume she’ll give her fellowSurvivor 50castmate someThe Traitorsadvice as well.
But I personally can’t wait for the new season with such a stacked cast! Thankfully I haveSurvivor 51starting up in less than a week to tide me over in the meantime.
