Who among us hasn’t looked at The Lord of the Rings trilogy of films and thought, “I would love to live or visit there?” Just the sheer variety in the landscape makes for a brilliant shooting location, especially when contrasted with the mountainside in the backgrounds. Just look at how turquoise those waters are contrasted along the rocky grays and vibrant green trees!
It would have to be recorded during the middle of summer, as it’s there where temperatures are in the 80s and 90s. That’s the only real hiccup I can see, as Survivor New Zealand would reinvigorate the latent feelings about this wonderful country that many who have seen it through the lens of fictional medieval fantasy.
Survivor has been to the Southeast most corner of the world (according to the Mercator projection) plenty of times, often pitting its castaways against the most brutal of terrains. After the brutal conditions subject to our favorite players in Survivor: Cambodia and Survivor: Kaoh Rong, it may be best to highlight the majesty of the land, instead.
