Super Bowl 51 between the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons is over. Here’s what some of your favorite Survivor players thought!

Now matter how much you love Survivor, even its participants stop what they’re doing to watch the big game each year. Super Bowl 51 this year saw a New England Patriots team get absolutely shellacked by the Atlanta Falcons in the first half before the team summoned up some devil magic to tie things up and force the first overtime in Super Bowl history. From there, they managed to score on their first overtime drive to win by a score of 34-28.

Meanwhile, the only thing Survivor players could do is show support for one team, the other, neither, or even both!

Plenty of Survivor players from both Boston and Atlanta areas have been adamant in their support, even when things have looked dire. Some are just here for the music!

The emotions generated from the Survivor: Millennials vs Gen X rivalry are still raw, with some players just outright booing or cheering teams just to piss each other off.

Here are some Gen X players supporting New England Patriots.

Meanwhile, Jessica Figueroa is cheering for the Atlanta Falcons just to spite Brett LaBelle.

Finally, here we have Hannah just leaning right into all the emotions surrounding Super Bowl 51.

There are plenty of Survivor players cheering on both teams, but Malcolm Freberg and Jeremy Collins have a score to settle. As we reported earlier in the week, at the very least, whoever won Super Bowl 51 was set to wear a team hat of the opposing team and send the other a meal based on their hometown.

With the Atlanta Falcons edging things out early, the trolling was out in full force.

It only escalated as the Patriots made things close late in the 4th quarter.

Then, with minutes left on the clock, the New England Patriots tied things up, and ultimately won the game in overtime.

Some chose to air their political opinions and related them to Super Bowl 51 events.

Most importantly, when it comes down to it, laughter heals all wounds. Some of the best zingers and funny moments just happened to come from Survivor players.

Finally, we have Michaela Bradshaw remind us that Survivor Game Changers is just around the corner.
