Survivor Game Changers promises many things, but it looks like fans will also be treated to a bit of a nautical theme from what we’ve seen.

The official twist for Season 34 of Survivor was revealed not long ago with the “Game Changers” appeal bringing back some of the best players in the history of the show. However, Survivor never stops there. Though they don’t always play to their location (like they should and as they did in places like China), there is always some sort of underlying theme to everything involved with the show. From the sets to little trinkets, you can see this theme throughout if you’re looking for it.

From what we can tell and a few things that have been leaked through various avenues, it does appear as if there is going to be a strong nautical theme for Survivor: Game Changers.

One of the first reveals regarding this nautical theme for Season 34 was via ET Canada. They were given an exclusive look at the Tribal Immunity Idol and, given that it’s a sculpture of an old diving helmet, it’s safe to say that the theme is evident with that. While the Tribal Immunity Idol is fine, there was actually a better look at how prevalent the nautical theme is going to be throughout Game Changers.

That look came via XFinity writer Gordon Holmes, who was given a look at the entrance to Tribal Council. With the entrance ramp looking like it leads to a docked ship, the nautical theme remains strong—and with an awesome look as it’s incredibly well done:

As more details and exclusives are revealed leading up to the March 8 season premiere of Survivor Game Changers, we’re likely to see more of the nautical theme. However, even this little glimpse has us and every fan even more eagerly anticipating the new season.
