Never one to shy away from his true thoughts, here is what Jeff Probst has to say about the Survivor Game Changers cast before the game begins.

Since becoming an executive producer of Survivor, Jeff Probst knows a lot more about the inner workings of the show than we could ever know. In addition to his regular hosting duties, his outreach as part of the creation of the show means he has insight over how people can or can’t fare in a season such as Survivor Game Changers.

That’s why the Jeff Probst Survivor Game Changers cast assessment is especially crucial just over a week before the season debuts. In today’s video, he gives a brutally honest approach to whether or not these returning players can win the season based on what he knows.

In terms of people who have a huge uphill battle to climb, or may be either out early or at the end of Survivor Game Changers, Jeff Probst recognizes Tony and Cirie. Cirie, he feels, might be a personal favorite to win the game, but even he recognizes that if he feels that way, every single one of her competitors will feel that way, too.

On the bubble, in terms of “can be great if everything falls in its right place,” Jeff notes that Malcolm, Ciera, Brad, Andrea, and Varner can go to the end. Malcolm and Brad will need to work on their social games, Ciera will need a bit of luck, Varner needs to get in with the old schoolers, and Andrea is a step or two away from becoming a winner in Jeff’s eyes.

Something that I found extremely pleasing was the Jeff Probst “Sandra is a Game Changer” defense force going out in stride. She may not have been the first to think “anybody but me,” but she mastered it to the point where she let others draw ire from each other and manipulate people into thinking she was an undeserving winner.

In a game where the strongest and most socially competent people are targetted extremely hard, it will be interesting to see if Sandra still gets that treatment from fellow castaways. She’s been playing the game smack dab in the middle of old school and mid-school play, and now she’s in a world where everyone’s evolving Survivor gameplay into voting blocs over strict alliances.

If Jeff Probst thinks that Sandra Diaz-Twine can be a Survivor Game Changers winner but the others don’t, we could be in for an amazing season.
