Ciera Eastin Heads Into Survivor Game Changers ‘Expecting To Win’
Making alliances with those you would least expect of her, Ciera Eastin enters Survivor Game Changers with game respecting game.
Ciera Eastin is a fundamental player in a season named after changing the game of Survivor. Her first season, Blood vs. Water, pitted family members against each other on opposing tribes until the merge came, where their partnerships were visible to all. Eventually, Ciera had to vote off her mom to keep her alliance strong in a moment that Jeff Probst is only too giddy to remind you about.
Things have changed since then, with Ciera speaking to Entertainment Weekly and revealing that she’s putting all her cards on the table in her hopes of winning this season. She may have picked the perfect time to return, as she looks to go a little more under the radar than she would have expected thanks to the winners and legends playing on her season.
"I’m really focused this season. I think I’m taking what I learned from Blood vs. Water and what I learned from Second Chance and I feel like I’m at my peak, so I feel like I can’t go down. I’m there and I’m taking all my knowledge and I’m throwing it into the season. And I’m confident. I’m going into it expecting to win, and that’s really different from my last two seasons."
Because it’s a simple game that shouldn’t be taken too seriously, Ciera Eastin also took the time to cast her pre-season vote, opting to vote out Sierra Dawn Thomas, “because there can only be 1!” Opting to go full Highlander may be a bit too aggressive than she hopes to be, but it’s a great call, either way!

Compared to our cast assessment of Ciera Eastin, she’s trying to go completely against type in her possible alliances. Aiming to go with Tai Trang and Troyzan Robertson, she’s trying to break out of her comfort zone in an attempt to make moves and turn heads.
However, as all these interviews go, she made these comments before she knew how the Survivor Game Changers tribes would work out. Troyzan is on her tribe, while Tai is on the other side. She can, however, reconnect with Jeff Varner due to their shared season on Survivor Cambodia, as they both use their subtle social manipulation as a strength.
Survivor Game Changers debuts “The Stakes Have Been Raised” next Wednesday, March 8 at 8 PM ET. ET Canada will take Global TV viewers behind the scenes half an hour earlier.
