Survivor Game Changers Episode 1 Videos Tease Ozzy’s Swimming Prowess

Ahead of the debut of Survivor Game Changers this Wednesday, three sneak peeks at “The Stakes Have Been Raised” remind you about this storied cast.

There are few universal truths about the game of Survivor. Don’t expect to beat Ozzy in a swimming race. Jeff Probst is going to be rocking tons of blue shirts. You will need to dig deep! Surprisingly, only one of these tropes came out of the first three sneak peeks for Survivor Game Changers, with CBS releasing new videos on their YouTube channel earlier today.

The first Survivor Game Changers sneak peek shows the castaways anchoring on their travel ship as Jeff Probst explains the premise for the season. He makes it clear from his first explanation that these players have been hand-picked by the production crew because they have they “are willing to make the kind of moves that will change the game.”

Funnily enough, the editing is already on point, as the cameras cut to Tony when describing people making “bold moves,” while cutting to Sierra Dawn Thomas when describing players who have made “quiet moves.” Also, we’ll take as many Tai and Ozzy high-fives as we can get!

The second Survivor Game Changers promo kicks off as the game begins, with everybody on board scrambling for supplies a la Survivor Borneo‘s start. The first twist in the game? A ring out in the distance marks underwater ropes that, once untied, awards a tool kit for the tribe that the player belongs to.

JT’s the first to mention that Ozzy needs to get on that out loud, and once the game begins, he’s the only one who dares race for it. They all remembered the first universal rule of Survivor, as nobody from the Mana tribe even thinks to try. “Ozzy’s here. No one else can get the tool kit,” Malcolm explains to Hali, as that sinking inevitability kicks in.

For the third and, possibly final, sneak peak of Survivor Game Changers‘ Episode 1, we get to see seven members of each tribe race out on a raft as part of the first immunity/reward challenge. With Hali mentioning her tribe won’t get the tools earlier, she’ll see first hand how fast Ozzy is in the water when she races out against him for her tribe.

Survivor Game Changers debuts on Wednesday with a two-hour episode titled “The Stakes Have Been Raised.” It premieres at 8 PM ET, with a 30-minute behind-the-scenes preview for Canadian viewers half an hour prior on Global TV.
